Hello Everyone,

You are very welcome back to Kilkenny Stars for the upcoming season.  We have been busy behind the scenes completing registration, arranging our training schedules, getting coaches in place and moving all of our Operations over to the ClubZap App for the upcoming season.

Training & Teams:

Training will be kicking off from Friday 1st September with our Academies returning to the Watershed.

At most age groups we will have two teams and coaches will be arranging sessions with all the players where they will then be assigned to their team for the season ahead. Our Head Coaches are listed below for each age group and we have a large team of Assistant Coaches and Volunteers in place to support them throughout the season.

Home Games:

We are making another significant change this year moving a large amount of our home games to St Kierans College. The aim is to make our games more accessible to all the players in the club so that we can support each other and create a "home" for Kilkenny Stars teams.

Culture & Identity:

Last year we set an ambitious goal to replace all of the kit in the club with a new design using our club colours of Black/Orange. I am delighted to inform you that we have managed to secure sponsorship from local businesses for almost all of our teams and we will be introducing this kit as we move into the season. We are very thankful to our sponsors and will be bringing you more detailed updates on these businesses in the near future as we ask our club members to support them and use their services where possible.

Following on from last season, one of our goals is to continue to build a positive culture in the club and we will host a number of events over the course of the season to help with this.
