Following a nail biting season opening loss in Kilkenny against Galway Mystics, the ladies took the road to Limerick last Saturday to take on Limerick Huskies on their home patch. In a very tight game where the lead changed hands no less than seven times, it was the Kilkenny team who closed out the stronger with some big plays down the final stretch by Caoimhe Timmons, Stephanie Davis and Miah Ryan to get the win on the road for the CluneTech Kilkenny Stars.
This was a fantastic team performance with all of the girls contributing massively to getting this result against a very tough and experienced Limerick Huskies team.
Next up is another mouth watering home game, this time against Swords Thunder who took down Abbey Seals Dublin Lions in their first and only game of the season so far on a 63 v 54 scoreline.
We are expecting a big crowd for this one so get there early to get your seats.

Our mens team had a tough away game against SETU Waterford Vikings with a 72 v 26 loss.
