This Sunday our club writes a new chapter in our history as we play our first official game in the National Basketball League.  The game will be played in St Mary's Hall, Portlaoise at 5.45pm and all support would be greatly appreciated.  There is a Ladies Superleague game on before our game so parking will be difficult to find at the venue so best to park at the Church nearby (advice from Portlaoise).

We took the decision to enter this team in the Basketball Ireland National Development League this year due to the young age profile of our players and the high cost of entering teams in the National Leagues. This league has grown in terms of participating teams and standard since it's inception with a focus on developing young non-professional players.  The extended squad has been training hard for the last couple of months are well prepared and raring to go.

Our first home game will be on the following Saturday, 2nd November at 7pm against Dublin Raiders.
