In a thrilling debut for the Under 11's, the stars shone brightly on Saturday at O'Loughlin's. Facing off against a determined Carlow team, both sides exhibited great skill and determination throughout the match.

The first quarter showcased an impressive spread of scores, with Clionadh Murphy leading the charge, propelling the Stars to a 10-4 lead. It was a testament to the team's hard work and dedication in training.

As the game progressed, Carlow mounted a spirited comeback in the second quarter, narrowing the gap to a nail-biting 10-9 at halftime. The competitive spirit on display from both teams was a true testament to the talent and tenacity of these young athletes.

The third quarter continued to be a tightly contested affair, with each team trading blows and demonstrating their skill on the court.

In the pivotal fourth quarter, the Stars dug deep, displaying teamwork and determination. Emma Donovan Peces' offensive rebounds and Keeva Bergin's precise passing were standout moments. Their efforts, along with the collective drive of the team, propelled the Stars to a well-deserved victory, finishing with a final score of 28-15.

In their debut game, the Stars demonstrated solid teamwork, skill, and determination, reflecting the effort put into training. It was great to see the girls encourage and play for each other. This positive start lays a strong foundation for the upcoming season.
