What a weekend and what an achievement for the Presentation Secondary School 1st Years Basketball Team who were crowned All Ireland "A" Champions after winning all 6 of their games in Limerick beating a strong Malahide team in the final. The girls played fantastic in every game and their defensive work rate and intensity was the platform for their success.
This team boasts 10 Kilkenny Stars players from our Under 14 Black & Orange teams and are coached in the school by our very own Puff Summers and Ms. Campion who has played a pivotal role in the success of this team. Huge credit also to Anthony Wall & Wayne Edwards who coach the girls on their respective teams in the club.
We are so proud of the achievements of the two All Ireland "A" winning teams from the Presentation Secondary School this year. The relationship between club and school has really blossomed this year and the results are very evident. Can't wait to see what comes next!!
